Desiccated coconut is obtained by de-husking and de-shelling fresh mature coconuts (cocos nucifera). After that; they’re washed, grounded and blanched with steam and dried.
Coconuts are very high in fiber and they have a good level of minerals such as potassium, chlorine, phosphorus and sodium. Desiccated coconut is mainly used as an ingredient for the confectionery and bakery industry as fillings for chocolate and candy bars, toppings for cakes and pastries, or biscuits and cookies.
We supply desiccated coconut in various grades (extra fine, fine, medium, coarse) as high fat and low fat from Sri Lanka, Philippines and Vietnam through our offices in the Netherlands, Turkey, USA and Bahrain.
